The second semester of school begins on Monday, January 14 th . All students will report to their first period, first semester class, where you will receive a new schedule for the second semester. An announcement will be made for students to go to their first period, second semester class.

In the cafeteria, the Pizza Court line will be combined with the Grill Court line today for lunch.

Any girl on the cross country team who has not turned in their clothing to Coach Sheffield, in room A 134, should do so now.

There will be meeting for the Earth Club officers on Wednesday, January 16 th at 7:20 a.m. Also, Earth club members are reminded to sell their T shirts. If anyone is interested in an earth club shirt, you may purchase one from any EC member or in room A 205. T shirts cost $15.

There will be a meeting for any girls interested in playing spring tennis on Wednesday, January 16 th at 3:10 in the competition gym. If you are unable to attend, please Mrs. Ansel in room C 108 or in the athletic area before next Wednesday.

Yearbooks are on sale now for the 07-08 year. Make sure and reserve your copy at www.smart-pay.com or you can pick up an order form from Mrs. Miller at the front desk.

Any girl who wants to run track needs to see Coach Sheffield in room A 134. If you do not already have a physical on file, you will need to have one before you can practice. Girl's track tryouts will begin Jan 28.

All boys' fall tennis players will have practice on Monday, January 14 th at 3:15 and all those that are interested in Spring tennis need to come by room A-205 Tuesday, January 15th after school. 

Any boy interested in trying out for baseball needs to get an application from Coaches Stone, Cegielski, or Bean. Baseball tryouts begin Friday, January 25 th , and you must have a physical on file.

Softball tryouts are scheduled for Monday, January 21 st at 3:30 at the softball field. Any girl interested in trying out for softball needs to get a physical form from Coach Fontenot, Coach Fesco, or Coach Tyler.

PNG Primetime highlights will be sold in Mrs. Mitchell's room D 102 before or after school. DVDs are $25 each.

Members of the DECA chapter will be collecting change that you care to donate to MDA during the lunch periods every Friday through January.

The Discover Scholarship is available to eligible juniors. Apply on line at www.scholarshipadministrators.net or come by the counselors' office for a paper application. The deadline is January 31, 2008.
