Provine will be doing picture retakes tomorrow during lunch periods.
Balfour will be on campus during lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday to take orders for caps, gowns, invitations, etc.
There will be an extremely important meeting for all members planning to attend district convention on Thursday morning at 7:20 in A103. If you do not attend the meeting or see Mrs. Riggs this week, you will not be allowed to attend District convention.
UIL Math/Science : Any student interested in attending the West Brook Math/Science Meet on November 10, needs to see Mrs. Meier, Mr. Johnson, or Mr. Comer today. If for some reason you cannot see these sponsors, please let Mr. Comer (in Room A-213) know if you plan to attend. Please do so no later than Tuesday morning.
Juniors and Seniors: Please stop by during lunch today to visit with the representatives from Lamar State College Port Arthur, Lamar University, Lamar Institute of Technology or Lamar State College Orange. They will be in the lunch room if you have any questions or want information about college, college admission, financial aid, etc.
There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in competing in UIL Computer Applications in Room D-104 on Wednesday, November 7 immediately after school. Handbooks and other study materials will be handed out at that time. Please see Ms. Shipman if you are interested but unable to attend the meeting. Come see what this award-winning program is all about and how we have advanced to the state level of competition for the past six years in a row.
Key Club will be taking donations for “Operation Christmas Child”. All donations can be made before school and after school in room C109. Also, during all lunches, there will be a drop off station at the front of the cafeteria. Small items are needed such as hygiene products, pens, pencils, colors, coloring books, picture books, small cars, small balls, etc. A list of items needed is posted on the door to C109 and in the cafeteria. We also need shoeboxes to pack these items.
Any student who is interested in trying out for the boy's soccer team needs to come by room A 115 to pick up a physical form. Tryouts begin November 26 th at 3:15 p.m.
Juniors: If you do not receive a bulletin in your history class, or if you're not in a history class, you may pick up a copy in the counselors' office.
