Any student attending the West Brook Math/Science Meet on Saturday needs to be in the new "A" wing parking lot around 6:45 a.m.  The bus will leave at 7:00 a.m.  If you have not turned in your emergency card, please bring the emergency card with you. If you have any questions, ask either Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Meier, Mrs. Wolfe, or Mr. Comer.  The bus should return around 3:30 p.m.

Student Council members are reminded to stop by B113 and sign up for all November and December events.  There are many opportunities for school and community service points.   Galveston Mid-Winter Retreat is coming up in January. Now is the time to get all the points needed to be one of the 15 students chosen to attend this workshop.  The Student Council annual Fall Scavenger Hunt will be held Monday, Nov. 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the LGI.  Any student interested, is welcome to join the hunt.  No committee meetings will be held this Monday.  See Mrs. Yosko, in B113, if you have any questions about this event.

Juniors and Seniors: Lamar State College-Port Arthur will be hosting the Mid/South County College Night at the Carl Parker Multi-Purpose Building 1800 Lakeshore Drive on Tuesday, December 4 from 6:00pm -8:00pm

Boys tennis pictures will be taken at the PNG tennis courts at 3:30 p.m. today.

The Earth Club will meet in room A 205 today from 3:05 – 3:25 p.m. Please bring your designs for the T shirt to the meeting.

Any student interested in being on the Mock Trial team can come by the band hall any day this week from 3:00 to 3:30 to sign up and get more information.

Dayton High School has challenged PNG to see which school can raise the most “Bucks” in support of Special Olympics. The 1 st or 5 th period class that collects the most money will be treated to a Breakfast Pizza Party served by the Student Council.

There will be a Criminal Justice Club meeting today, immediately after school in room C102.  All members are encouraged to attend and it is a mandatory meeting for those who are attending the Leadership Conference on Saturday, November 10 th .  This week's movie clue is: “While Captain Kirk had a cameo appearance in this film, the Warren County Sanitarium is within our universe.  Whatever you do, don't make your little brother mad!”

Key Club will be taking donations for “Operation Christmas Child”. All donations can be made before school and after school in room C109. Also, during all lunches, there will be a drop off station at the front of the cafeteria. A list of items needed is posted on the door to C109 and in the cafeteria. We also need shoeboxes to pack these items.

Any student who is interested in trying out for the boy's or girl's soccer team needs to come by room A 115 to pick up a physical form. Tryouts begin November 26 th at 3:15 p.m. Girls may see Coach Bates or Coach Werkheiser.
