Student tickets to Friday's playoff game are on sale in the Attendance Office until noon on Friday.

Attention all FTA members: please remember to bring your food for the Teacher Breakfast to the teacher's lounge Thursday morning by 7:30. Check in with Mrs. Boudoin when you get there. Also, more program sellers are needed for Friday night. If you are interested please see Mrs. Riggs in A103 by Friday afternoon.

FTA shirts are in. Please come by Mrs. Riggs' room between classes, or before or after school to pick yours up.

Lamar State College Port Arthur will be hosting a College Night for Mid/South County Students on Tuesday, December 4 th .  It will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Carl Parker Center .  If you are a junior or senior, please plan to attend this event.  Colleges from various areas will have booths set up with information about admission, scholarships, and financial aid.

This is a reminder that all Operation Christmas Child donations must be turned in by Friday in room C109.  For all of you that donated, THANK YOU VERY MUCH and happy holidays from the Key Club. Also, for all Key Clubbers that signed up for the Appreciation event tomorrow, please meet in the hallway by the auditorium at 7:15 a.m. on Friday morning.

Student Council Teacher Secret Pals and Reachout Pals are reminded that all Thanksgiving goodies are due by Monday, November 19.  All pals are asked to check the student box often.  

Attention Students: This Friday, one lucky PNG student will have the chance to win a brand new 2007-2008 yearbook. If you name is drawn, your yearbook will be paid for compliments of the War Whoop staff. The only qualification is that you show up for school on Friday, November 16 th . The winner will be announced at the pep rally.

There will be a short FCCLA meeting after school today in room A-119.

This Friday, we are playing the Galena Park Yellow Jackets for our first playoff match. The spirit contest this week is “JAR THE JACKETS”. Students may purchase a jacket from any varsity cheerleaders or from Mrs. Wolfe in room A 142 for 25 cents each. Students will take their jacket and deposit them in the containers for their class located at the front of the cafeteria. Each day the jackets will be cleared form the containers and placed in the giant jars located outside of A 142. The class filling their jar the fullest by Friday afternoon will be declared the winner.

Any student who is interested in trying out for the boy's or girl's soccer team needs to come by room A 115 to pick up a physical form. Tryouts begin November 26 th at 3:15 p.m. Girls may see Coach Bates or Coach Werkheiser.

National Honor Society will be hosting its annual blood drive on November 27 th from 1:30 – 5 p.m. in the HOSA room in loving memory of our friend Karmen Dupuis. Come out and support a life-sharing event.

Sophomores: the service organization, Kiwanis Club has 20 scholarships of $600 each available to sophomores in Texas and Oklahoma . If you are interested in applying for this scholarship, you may pick up the application in the counselor's office. The deadline to return the application is Friday, November 16 th.
