Student Council members, and anyone interested in going to Oak Grove Nursing Home for a Christmas Party is reminded to meet in B113 after school on Monday, December 3. Student Council members are reminded to bring wrapped and labeled gifts to take to the residents. For gift suggestions, maps, or more information, see Mrs. Yosko in B 113.

Are you feeling the holiday blues or have test jitters? Come lift your spirits on Tuesday morning in the choir room at 7 a.m. Share donuts and orange juice and leave feeling lifted.

Girls and boys cross country team pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, December 11 th at Leo Weeks Studio at 3:15 for boys and 3:30 for girls. Girls are to wear their uniform and cross country jacket and bring the rest of your clothes to turn in that day. Any girl who did not run in the district meet needs to turn in all clothing now to Coach Sheffield.

This is it! Today is the day to get your PowWow at lunch. Look for the eager journalism students in the cafeteria and get one for 25 cents.

Student Council will host a Silver Bell Ball on Friday, December 14 th from 8:30 – 11 p.m. in the cafeteria. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $5 per person. Group pictures will be taken at the following times: Freshmen 10 p.m.; sophomores 10:10 p.m.; juniors 10:20 p.m. and seniors 10:30 p.m.

Everyone who signed up for the mock trial team with Ms. Beckcom will be required to attend an informational meeting on Monday December 3rd at 3:30 in the band hall.  You will receive information regarding tryouts and the competition.  You MUST attend this meeting in order to try out for the team.  If you did NOT sign up for mock trial but are interested in being on the team, please come to the meeting.  Bring a pen and paper to the meeting to take notes.

All students and faculty are invited to watch the Indian Player's production of “Phaedra” on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students.

Any girl interested in trying out for the golf team must have a physical form prior to practice. Sign up with Ms. Comeaux in the athletic office.

Lamar State College Port Arthur will be hosting a College Night for Mid/South County Students on Tuesday, December 4 th.  It will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Carl Parker Center .  If you are a junior or senior, please plan to attend this event.  Colleges from various areas will have booths set up with information about admission, scholarships, and financial aid.
