All students will be eating lunch during their 4 th period class today. If you do not know which lunch period you have, check with your 4 th period teacher.
Softball tryouts are scheduled for Monday, January 21 st at 3:30 at the softball field. Any girl interested in trying out for softball needs to get a physical form from Coach Fontenot, Coach Fesco, or Coach Tyler.
If you have not picked up your Santa Pictures, please pick them up today during lunch.
PNG Primetime highlights will be on sale today in the cafeteria. DVDs are $25 each.
If you took the PSAT in October, you may pick up your results in the counselor's office.
Members of the DECA chapter will be collecting any pennies, nickels or dimes that you care to donate to MDA during the lunch periods every Friday through January.
Beginning Friday, January 11, 2008, all vehicles parked on school property will display an appropriate hang tag. Hang tags may be purchased for $2 in the CATE office located next to the cafeteria. You must attach a copy of your driver's license and proof of insurance to your application before a hang tag will be issued. Please see your student handbook and code of conduct for penalties related to parking violations.
Any student wishing to purchase a Team Esquivel T shirt can come by C105 to purchase one. The cost is $15.
PNG Pride wall calendars for 2008, featuring high school teams, organizations, and daily activities, are now on sale for $15. See any Indianette, Mrs. Nichols, or Mrs. Burkle to purchase one.
The Discover Scholarship is available to eligible juniors. Apply on line at www.scholarshipadministrators.net or come by the counselors' office for a paper application. The deadline is January 31, 2008.
Juniors & Seniors: Texas A & M University sponsors the Student Leaders of Tomorrow Conference to be held February 15 th – 17 th . High school juniors and seniors travel to Texas A & M to gain the necessary experience to enrich their leadership skills through prominent speakers and participation in exciting programs as well as a first-hand experience at college life. To apply, come by the counselors ' office and pick up a flyer.
All students who may be interested in attending the George Washington University Summer Scholars Pre-College Program may pick up information in the counselors' office. There is a 10-day mini course for grades 9 – 11 from June 22 – July 2, 2008 and a 6-week Pre-College Program for Rising Seniors from July 6 – August 15, 2008.
